Doll Motors was founded in 2022 by Mateo Peña Doll to provide powertrain design services to the electric marine industry. This work led to specialized expertise in gear design, driven by the unique requirements of electric powertrains where high torque, low noise, and high efficiency are critical.

Doll Motors offers a rapid, cost-effective gear design service that enables our customers to integrate custom gear solutions without developing in-house expertise. We work with vetted suppliers in Taiwan, Japan, and the USA.

Our services also extend to complete custom gearbox units, and have produced multiple gearbox designs validated on an in-house AC gearbox dynamometer.
